Our Learning Forum Team are:
Joseph C, Sophie-Lily J, Hannah O,
Izaak N & Oliver T
Our Learning Forum consists of representatives from classes throughout the School and is lead by the Deputy Headteacher and Year 6 Leaders. We meet to review and evaluate learning, making suggestions for improvements. Children are encourages to be reflective and honest in their opinions and are keen to help make learning at Alder Coppice to be even more meaningful and exciting.
The Learning Forum is a new and exciting group at Alder Coppice, and our members are busily working on a badge design and signs to ensure our meetings don't get disturbed! Some of the subjects which our Forum has discussed have included the importance of Learning Objectives and Success Criteria, plenaries and what makes learning outstanding.
Some of our Learning Forum representatives took part in collaboration with other North Dudley Schools and were filmed discussing their thoughts on outstanding learning. The footage was added to a DVD which will be used throughout these schools to improve learning.
